This book is all about Julia, the owner of, Julia's House for Lost Creatures. Julia invites creatures to her home. Many arrive, from patchy cats, to a dragon! The house is a bit out of control with so many guests. Julia finds a way to manage the house by creating structure and homing a handy-man (robot).
Why would I use this book in the classroom:
As a future educator, I'd use this book in my classroom to teach students to take charge! Julia displays leadership by managing her house. I think it's good to teach students how to be leaders.

I think an appropriate grade level for this book is K-3rd. It's an easy read. Students will enjoy the fun monster characters and sounds used in the book.
